In partnership with the Columbia Power
Corporation, Streamkeepers coordinate an intensive riverside
tree planting, livestock fencing and bank restoration
program. While the mandate of the program is to enhance fish
habitat, landowners benefit through conservation of their
riverside land and are able to address riverbank erosion
issues. |

riverside property owners: |

We accept applications for restoration
projects on private property adjacent to the Slocan River
during March and April of each year. If you are interested in
projects related to this program, please contact us and we will arrange a project
assessment for your property. |
